YPG operation in Efrîn

YPG Media Center announced that YPG/YPJ forces carried out an operation in the Başemrê village of Efrîn's Şêrawa district, and took control of the strategic Mişko hill from Al-Nusra and Ahrar-al Sham gangs.

YPG Media Center released a written statement on the armed confrontation with jihadist gangs in Rojava.

YPG Media Center announced that YPG/YPJ forces carried out an operation in the Başemrê village of Efrîn's Şêrawa district, and took control of the strategic Mişko hill from Al-Nusra and Ahrar-al Sham gangs. YPG/YPJ forces captured 1 artillery bomb, 4 kalashnikovs, 1 doçka machine gun, and numerous bullets during the operation. The total number of gang casualties has not yet been determined, and one YPG/YPJ fighter died during the operation.

YPG also stated that ISIS gangs attacked the Şergirat village to the east of Kobanê’s Eyn Îsa district between 9 and 10 am, the Fatsa village to the east of Eyn Îsa around 3 pm, and the town of Eyn Îsa between 6:30 and 7 pm on February. All of these attacks were repelled successfully.

Lastly, YPG Media Center noted that ISIS gangs attacked the Kadriye village to the southeast of Kobanê's Tişrîn dam around 3:30 am on February 7, and YPG/YPJ forces quickly repelled this attack.
