In a statement about the ongoing attacks of the Turkish army and affiliated gangs on Rojava, YPG (People's Defense Units) Press Office gave the following information;
"On 3 March, gang groups acting under the command of the Turkish army made a move to attack the Maranez village of Efrîn and clashes erupted upon the intervention of our forces. 1 member of the gangs was verified killed during the fighting here.
During the same day, gangs attacked Seken Shebab neighborhood of Aleppo from İdlib direction with mortars.
On 4 March, the Turkish army attacked the Silul village to the east of Kobanê with heavy weaponry, which faced a harsh retaliation by our units.
Again the same day, at 19:00 in the evening, Turkish forces attacked Qere Baba village of Efrîn's Rajo district with DShK fire. The attack that continued into late night hours was retaliated by our forces, resulting in brief clashes in this territory."
