YPG Spokesman denies Turkey's claims of shelling from Rojava side

YPG Official Spokesman for Efrîn Canton, Firat Xelîl refuted the Turkish state claims that YPG and Jaysh Al-Thuwar attacked the Turkish military outpost in the border area.
YPG Official Spokesman for Efrîn Canton, Firat Xelîl spoke to ANHA (Hawar News Agency) regarding the aggression conducted by Turkish army against Manegh and Maranas villages of Azaz city, and Mezreha village of Efrîn's Shêrawa district.
Xelîl recalled that the Manegh airbase and surrounding villages were liberated on February 11 by fighters of Jaysh Al-Thuwar (The Army of Revolutionaries) as they continue making advances between Azaz and Efrîn. Xelîl said; “The Turkish state is disturbed and concerned over the advance of Jaysh Al-Thuwar forces in that region. This is the reason why it is bombing Manegh military airbase and surroundings and the village of Malikiyê with heavy weapons.”
YPG Official Spokesman refuted the Turkish state claims that YPG and Jaysh Al-Thuwar attacked the Turkish military outpost in the border area, adding; “There is no such a thing. During the past 4 years, our forces shot no single bullet even on the Turkish state from Efrîn nor any other part of Rojava.”
Xelîl stressed that the Turkish state carried out these attacks to halt the advance of Jaysh Al-Thuwar in the region. He added that the aggression has left some Jaysh Al-Thuwar fighters wounded.
