YPG: Turkish army attacked three villages to the east of Kobanê

YPG reported that the Turkish army and affiliated gangs continue their attacks on Rojava uninterrupted.

YPG (People's Defense Units) Press Office released a statement reporting ongoing attacks by the Turkish military and gangs operating under the command of the Turkish army on the lands of Rojava, West Kurdistan.

According to the statement, Turkish aircraft conducted reconnaissance flights over the villages of Xanê, Sûsik and Girêsor to the east of Kobanê on February 15. Simultaneously, Turkish forces attacked the villages of Sûsik, Esafa and Tıl Fındır to the east of Kobanê with heavy weaponry.

During the same day, gangs operating under the command of the Turkish army attacked the hamlet of Sheikh Isa in Shehba region with howitzer fire. Late at night, the gangs attacked the Maranez and Ayn Deqnê villages of Efrîn with DShK and tank fire.

Gang groups also launched a mortar and DShK attack on the village of Ayn Deqnê today.
