The fighters in the operation grounds spoke to the ANF and said this maneuver is important for the whole world.

“A HISTORIC MOVE FOR HUMANITY”

Şoreşger Rojava, a YPG fighter who took part in many clashes in Rojava, said this operation is important not just for the region and Raqqa, but the whole world.

YPG fighter Şoreşger Rojava spoke to our camereas about the operation and said:

“This is a very historic move. The gangs suffered heavy blows with the Manbij maneuver. Raqqa is an important center for the gangs. They have made the people of these lands suffer deeply. We will not let a single gang to remain in these lands. We will chase them off, until the end. I want to underline this: The liberation of Raqqa is important not just for the people of Raqqa, but for the whole of humanity. The gangs threaten security for the world from here. The world is watching this place. The residents are also aware of this. We, the children of the peoples here, take part in the operation with this awareness.”

Rojava gave the following information on the operation: “There is a wide terrain in front of us, and small and large villages. Up ahead, there are the Tıl Semir town and a large village, Heşi. Right now these are the obstacles to cross. We will clear this area off gangs as soon as possible and advance.”

Azad Grê Spî is another YPG fighter and is fighting in the frontlines of the Operation Wrath of Euphrates. Azad Grê Spî has taken part in several operations against ISIS and has now turned towards Raqqa.

“WE WILL CONCLUDE WITH SUCCESS”

Azad Grê Spî said the following on their way to Raqqa:

“The Operation Wrath of Euphrates has launched. There is a wide terrain in front of us. This operation is widespread and extensive. We are determined to reach our goal and conclude with success. For the peoples living under ISIS cruelty to be free, we are ready to give our last drop of blood, if that’s what it takes. People from Raqqa who had to leave their lands for elsewhere have a longing for their own lands. For them, we will complete this operation with success.

As YPG, YPJ and QSD fighters our morale is high. We are determined and joyful that we will save the people of Raqqa under tyranny and avenge our martyrs”

KOÇERİN: WE WILL SAVE THE WOMEN

YPJ fighters taking part in the Operation Wrath of Euphrates say they have been waiting a long time for this operation and that they will avenge the women in Raqqa.

YPJ fighters Delila Koçerin and Evin Rojda who take part in the attack wings of the liberation operation towards Raqqa spoke to the ANF.

Delila Koçerin: “We have been waiting for a long time for this operation to start. Our morale is very high now that it has. We consider the Raqqa maneuver to be the final. Because this is the general headquarters of ISIS gangs. ISIS gangs have hurt many women and inflicted a lot of suffering. They enslaved women. They kidnapped girls. We are happy that we will save those women. The women who were the heroes of the Kobanê resistance are ready for this operation as well.”

“WE WILL GIFT IT TO HUMANITY”

Evin Rojda: “ISIS caused so much harm to the peoples in these lands. With this operation, we will avenge them. We will avenge our martyrs. We will avenge the women enslaved under ISIS oppression. I believe we will complete this operation successfully. We will gift this victory to humanity, in the name of the women. I wish all my friends in this operation success. I salute the peoples of Kurdistan who support us wholeheartedly.”
