In a written statement, YPS General Coordination announced that YPS and YPS-JIN members carried out an action against the checkpoint of Turkish soldiers and police officers in Tatvan district center at 22:00 on August 31. 3 soldiers were killed, a Kobra armored vehicle was destroyed, and 2 Kobra and 1 Panzer armored vehicle were damaged during the action.

ONE SOLDIER KILLED IN KIZILTEPE

YPS stated that 1 soldier was killed during a YPS action in Kızıltepe (Qoser) on August 31.

COUNTER GUERILLA AND SOLDIERS HIT IN HAKKARİ

YPS General Coordination stated that counter-guerilla Sadi Özatak was hit on August 29 and soldiers in Berçelan Neighborhood were targeted on August 30 in Colemerg city center. YPS units also destroyed a building near Şenler Hotel occupied by soldiers and police officers, and the numbers of dead and injured officers have not yet been clarified.
