YPS General Coordination issued a written statement on its actions in Van and Siirt on July 15.

EFFECTIVE ACTION IN VAN

YPS announced that its members carried out an action with heavy weaponry against the Police Headquarters in Van’s İpek Yolu district at 20:45 on July 15. 4 rockets hit the headquarters and caused material damage, and the numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been determined.

8 MEMBERS OF SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES KILLED IN SİİRT

YPS General Coordination stated that its forces carried out an action against the outposts in the Çakmak and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods and Güvenlik hill of Siirt at 02:45 on July 15. 8 members of special operations forces were killed and 1 mountain deer-type armored vehicle was destroyed during the action. Many other vehicles were damaged during the clashes that lasted until 04:30, and 1 mother and her child were wounded critically during the state forces’ random bombardment of the area after the action.
