In a written statement, Civilian Protection Units (YPS) claimed responsibility for the action against Derik district governor Muhammet Fatih Safitürk, who had recently been appointed to Derik Municipality as trustee.
YPS stated that the sabotage action against the AKP’s appointed trustee was carried out at 00:30 on November 10, and dedicated the action to the martyrs of Derik.
