The Yafes Cemetery of Martyrs in Cizre, Şırnak was attacked.

On the wall of the part of the cemetery with the graves of YPS (Civil Defense Units) members, attackers wrote “THE PRICE” in all capital letters.

Neighborhood residents say the attack was perpetrated by the police.

This is not the first time the Turkish state attacks a cemetery. Graves are systematically being damaged. In recent years, dozens of cemeteries have been damaged, bodies have been removed from graves and other cemeteries have been bombed.
