YPS: Turkish jets bombed Nusaybin

The General Coordination of Civil Defense Units (YPS) reported that Turkish jets bombed Mardin's Nusaybin district in the evening of May 19. Turkish forces also used chemicals that give off a strong smell and cause burns on human body.

According to the YPS statement, state forces on the other hand shelled Martyr Gelhat and Alika neighborhoods with ranks, howitzers, phosphor bombs and heavy weapons.

YPS added that at least 6 members of Turkish forces were killed during the self-rule resistance in Nusaybin and Şırnak. 6 armored vehicles were also destroyed and 2 drivers of these were killed.
