Şiyar Şevger, a commander of the YRK, the armed wing of the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK), evaluated the crackdown of the Iranian regime against the people of Hawraman and the reactions of peoples under the occupation of Iran to the ANF.
“Because the people of those regions are patriotic and have an ancient history, they are subjected to various cultural and physical attacks. The Iranian state is putting pressure on people through a false religion to keep people away from their history. The state pursues a drug policy to make young people not learn their truth and history. Since people have been going through economic difficulties, the Iranian state makes people dependent on them and forces them to be collaborators and agents,” Şevger said.
FAMILIES OF PATRIOTS AND MARTYRS ATTACKED
Şiyar Şevger commented on the genocide committed by the invading Iranian state against the people, saying, “Iran is making efforts to ensure that the people of the region cannot make a living. In this way, it wants to make the people dependent on the regime. Kolbars who are employed to carry goods on their backs across the borders of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey are killed by the state each day. The Iranian regime is carrying out spying activities by conducting disguised studies among the people. They apply different methods each day to strengthen the spying system.”
The YRK commander continued, “In order to prevent Kurdish national unity, they are trying to make the Kurds hostile towards each other. Yet, the Kurdish people will never lose their hope to lead a free life and will further increase their struggle. The purpose of these policies is to break society from its essence and to distance the people of Kurdistan from leading a moral life. They believe that they can achieve this by suppressing the woman. That is why the Iranian regime normalizes femicides by legitimizing abuse, rape and child marriage.
The Iranian state is brutally attacking Kurdish patriots and families of martyrs. It arrests, executes, and murders the Kurdish people. It is also making anti-YRK propaganda. Its aim is to distract the public from their reality and suppress reactions. For this reason, there has been a great attack on the culture, social structure, history and existence of the region in general.”
