HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Center said in a written statement that ISIS gangs attacked and captured the peshmerga-controlled Masker village and Girê Tılverdê region in Kirkuk on 25 November.

HPG-BIM stated that on 26 Nov. night HPG and YJA-STAR (Free Women's Troops) guerrillas together with peshmerga forces carried out a joint operation targeting the gang groups who also blew up the petroleum pipeline in the mentioned region.

Heavy blows were inflicted on the ISIS gangs who lost 10 members of theirs in clashes and bodies of 5 militants of theirs were seized. Kurdish forces took control of the village of Masker Xalid and Girê Tilverdê area as result of the offensive.
