YPG (People's Defense Units) Press Centre has reported in today's statement about the ongoing fighting in Kobanê town of West Kurdistan, Rojava, that the attacks of ISIS gangs aiming to occupy the town continued on the 81st day.

According to the statement, ISIS gangs attacking on the eastern front have been forced to retreat to defense position in face of the determined resistance by YPG/YPJ fighters, and are waiting for reinforcements from other regions.

YPG Press Centre stated that an offensive by YPG/YPJ units targeting ISIS groups on the southern front left at least 5 members of the gangs dead last night.

Clashes between YPG/YPJ units and ISIS groups also erupted on the southern front where 6 gang members as much as ascertained were killed.
