120 Kobanê children in Amed complete Kurdish courses
120 children from Kobanê, whose families took refuge in the main Kurdish city Amed, have completed the Kurdish courses they attended at Education and Culture House of Kayapınar municipality.

120 children from Kobanê, whose families took refuge in the main Kurdish city Amed after being forced to leave their town during the savage attacks of the ISIS gangs, have completed the Kurdish courses they attended at Education and Culture House of Kayapınar municipality.
The children who gathered in an activity organised to mark the end of semester received their yearly school reports after completing the Kurdish courses they attended this semester.
The activity took place at Cegerxwin Cultural Centre of Kayapınar municipality and was attended by Amed HDP candidate Çağlar Demirel, Kayapınar vice co-mayor Nesrin Keskin in addition to families and children.
Speaking at the event, Nesrin Keskin recalled that they started to give education in Kurdish in a café, and now continue to do so at 5 different education centres in the district.
After the Kobanê children were given their reports, a performance of the choir formed by Kobanê children also took place at the event, while a painting exhibition prepared by children also won recognition. In their paintings, the Kobanê children pictured the war, migration, resistance as they had perceived it, as well as their dreams for freedom.
