13 civilians rescued and 7 ISIS members killed in Raqqa
13 civilians have been rescued in the Raqqa city center and 7 ISIS members were killed in clashes.
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters continue to advance in the operation to liberate Raqqa. Clashes in Nahda, al-Barid and Kurdan neighborhoods and around the Neim Crossing, the Weteni Hospital, the Stadium and the Harun Rashid Park between SDF fighters and ISIS gangs continued into the morning.
7 ISIS members were killed in clashes while 1 gang member surrendered to SDF fighters.
Fighters also rescued 13 civilians from the gangs.
One SDF fighter was martyred in the clashes.
