YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have advanced towards the governmental centre in al-Barid neighbourhood west of Raqqa. In the ensuing clashes, 5 gang members - one suicide bomber included - were killed.

During ongoing clashes in Nazlad Shehade neighbourhood south of Raqqa where SDF fighters make a constant advance, another 6 gang members were killed and SDF fighters confiscated a fair amount of ammunition.

3 more gang members were killed in Rawda neighbourhood northeast of the city and another 2 in al-Diriyah neighbourhood in the west.

The area of the Political Security Zone in Hisham Bin Abdulmalik neighbourhood south of Raqqa has been liberated completely by the SDF fighters and is being cleansed of mines the gangs planted across the whole premises.

During the search and sweeping efforts, many bodies of the gangs have been discovered along with their ammunition.
