Turkish police continue launching widespread raids against a growing number of people accused of joining 6-7 October protests in solidarity with Kobanê and democratic demonstrations marking the founding of the PKK on 27 November.

15 students in Van were taken into custody as police raided their houses and broke down doors in a midnight operation. The students are reportedly being held in custody at police headquarters.
