16 people have been detained in Amed (Diyarbakır) as investigations continue into the killing of 4 people during protests in the city against ISIS attacks on Kobanê on 7 October.

The Diyarbakır Public Prosecutor’s Office announced yesterday that 16 people had been detained as suspects in the murder of 4 people during the Kobanê solidarity protests on 7 October. The Prosecutor’s Office added that efforts were being made to arrest 5 others connected with the same incidents.
