YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue advancing from four sides of Raqqa and breaking ISIS’ lines of defense. SDF fighters have reached the premises of the Sadiq school at the center of the Nazlat Shihade neighbourhood south of the city.

During clashes that erupted upon the gangs’ attack on SDF positions in the neighbourhood, 12 ISIS members were killed. Bodies of these remained in SDF possession, alongside their arms and ammunition. SDF fighters also destroyed two DShK-mounted vehicles of the gangs.

2 ISIS snipers were killed in the neighbourhood of al-Barid north of Raqqa, and 2 others in the neighbourhood of Rawda.

Mine clearing units of the SDF have opened a security corridor for civilians in three neighborhoods of the city.

5 SDF fighters got wounded during clashes ongoing since Friday evening.
