17 people were taken into custody in today's operations in İzmir and Eskişehir provinces.
İZMİR
Police forces conducted raids on the flats of administrators and members of the Revolutionary Party in the western city of İzmir. 11 people were detained on the grounds of carrying photographs of those who lost their lives in the fight against ISIS at the May Day rally.
ESKİŞEHİR
Six people including HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) administrators and university students were taken into custody during house raids in Eskişehir province. The detainees were taken to Ertuğrulgazi police station following a medical check.
Among the detainees are HDP administrator Enver Tek, HDP Odunpazarı district co-chair Mustafa Karataş, HDP Odunpazarı district administrator Ahmet Etike and two students at Anadolu University and one student at Osmangazi University.
