ISIS gangs have launched mortar attack on a region inhabited by civilians in the Tîl Sheir region of Kobanê. The attack has left two civilians dead and four others wounded.

As fierce clashes continued all night long in the besieged town of West Kurdistan, ISIS gangs have targeted thousands of Kobanê residents in Tîl Sheir region to the west of the town early Saturday morning.

At least 5 mortars were fired on the civilian-inhabited area at the border, some of which fell on Suruç side in North Kurdistan.

The explosion of the mortars caused the death of two civilians and the injury of 4 others, including a 3-year-old child.

Bodies of the two people killed in the attack have been taken to the hospital in Kobanê. The casualties have been identified as 26 years old Egit Nebo, father of one, and Nebo Elî, father of four.

The names of those wounded are reported as İbrahim İbrahim, Agıri İbrahim, Mahmud Ebas and 3 years old Dilber Mihemed İbrahim.
