AKP government, now backed by MHP on the parliamentary immunity issue, continues taking cases of summary of proceedings to the Parliament one by one. Adding to the 275 summaries of proceedings on HDP MPs, 22 more against 19 MPs have been submitted to the Prime Ministry today.
22 summaries of proceedings prepared against Demirtaş and 18 other MPs by State Prosecutors have been submitted to the Prime Ministry today to be presented to the Parliament by the Ministry of Justice.
HDP Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş has 3 cases, while the rest of HDP MPs with summaries of proceedings against them are İmam Taşcıer, Mithat Sancar, Leyla Birlik, İbrahim Ayhan, Adem Geveri, Nursel Aydoğan, Selma Irmak, Tuğba Hezer Öztürk, Ayşe Acar Başaran, Osman Baydemir, Alican Önlü, Erol Dora, Mehmet Emin Adıyaman, Faysal Sarıyıldız, Aycan İrmez, Ferhat Encü, Mehmet Ali Aslan and Pervin Buldan.
Immediately after President Tayyip Erdoğan’s recent statement of “calling the Parliament to duty”, 8 summaries of proceedings were submitted to the Parliament regarding HDP MPs Faysal Sarıyıldız, Ferhat Encü, Aycan İrmez, Çağlar Demirel, İmam Taşçıer, Feleknas Uca, Adem Geveri and Gülser Yıldırım.
With the latest arrivals, the summaries of proceedings count has gone from 275 to 299. The total number of summary of proceedings cases have gone from 506 to 528, out of which 116 concern CHP MPs, 41 AKP MPs and 14 MHP MPs.
