ISIS gangs attacked the Ayed al-Kabeer village west of Tabqa and the Misherfa village located between Tabqa and Maskanah at 05:00 this morning.

The attack faced an immediate and strong response from Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters, as result of which 26 ISIS members were killed. In addition, three DShK-mounted vehicles, three military vehicles and one armored vehicle of the gangs were destroyed.

While Tabqa town center was cleared of ISIS on May 2nd, the town and the Euphrates Dam were fully liberated from ISIS occupation yesterday.
