27 ISIS members killed in Raqqa

As fierce clashes continue in Raqqa city centre, 27 ISIS members have been killed during the fighting in two neighborhoods.

YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue their operation to liberate Raqqa in the ‘Great Battle’ they launched on June 6.

During the clashes that erupted in Old Raqqa area east of the city Monday evening, 15 ISIS members, 4 of them snipers, have been killed and fighting continues.

Clashes also continue in Nahda neighbourhood west of the city, where 12 ISIS members, 3 snipers included, were killed.

Fighting erupted also in Mirur neighbourhood on the same front, but details on the outcome are not available yet.
