YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue their operation to liberate Raqqa from ISIS, and clashes continue unabated in all four parts of the city.
Fierce clashes erupted between SDF fighters and ISIS gangs in Nazlat al-Shihade neighbourhood south of Raqqa, which resulted in 7 killed gang members, one sniper included, and the fighters advanced further into the district.
6 more ISIS members, again one sniper included, were killed in heated clashes in Hisham bin Abdulmalik neighbourhood.
The gangs took another toll of 5 killed members in al-Barid neighbourhood north-west of Raqqa.
In 'Old Raqqa' neighbourhood, ISIS members attempted to attack SDF positions with a bomb-laden vehicle which was, however, destroyed before reaching its target.
In the same neighbourhood, SDF fighters shot down a drone belonging to the gangs and killed another 4 ISIS members.
7 gang members were killed in clashes that intensified in Rawda neighbourhood north-east of the city.
The battles continue in these region in all intensity.
