3-day tent protest in Berlin to demand freedom for Öcalan

A 3-day tent protest was launched in front of the German Federal Assembly (Bundestag) within the scope of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, Political Solution to the Kurdish Question" initiative.

Berlin has once again become an important platform to draw attention to the worldwide Kurdish problem and the freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The "Freedom for Öcalan, Political Solution to the Kurdish Question" initiative arrived in front of the Federal Parliament building, in the form of a three-day tent protest.

The event saw the participation of parliamentarians, lawyers, writers, journalists, civil society organizations and well-known personalities.

The event was organized by Dest Dan Women's Council and Nav Berlin (Assembly of Free Kurdistan). In addition, Abdullah Öcalan's paradigm was presented to the participants through videos shown on various television screens.

Leaflets about the Imralı isolation and torture system and the demands of the initiative to ensure the physical freedom of Abdullah Öcalan were distributed. The action will last three days.
