3 villages in southern Mosul liberated from ISIS

Iraqi forces liberated 3 villages during their operation to liberate southern Mosul from ISIS gang groups.

Intense clashes are taking place between ISIS gangs and Iraqi forces, who are moving along the southern-southeastern route in Mosul from two different directions.

Ninowa Operation Commander Abdulemir Reshid Yarallah issued a statement and said that Iraqi Federal Police forces have taken Karfur, Cimasiye and Bicwari villages under control.

The Eqrib Military Base region and Bakhira village on the Baghdad-Mosul road were also liberated from ISIS gangs.

The Iraqi army and police continue to advance towards the city from the southeast.
