30 prisoners on death fast
Two groups of 15 prisoners are now on death fast, the first started on 30 April while the second on 10 May.
There are now 30 prisoners on death fast demanding the end of the isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
PKK and PAJK prisoners had said they were stepping up the resistance taking it to a new phase and announced 15 prisoners would go on death fast on 30 April.
The prisoners then announced that a new group of 15 prisoners were joining the first group on death fast on 10 May.
