4 injured as police attack protestors in Istanbul's Gazi neighborhood

Hundreds have gathered in Gazi neighborhood of Istanbul's Sultangazi district to protest the ongoing siege and genocidal attacks of state forces in North Kurdistan.

Hundreds have gathered in Gazi neighborhood of Istanbul's Sultangazi district to protest the ongoing siege and genocidal attacks of state forces in North Kurdistan.

Police forces fired on the mass on Cemevi (Alevi place of worship) Street from armored vehicles, which left at least 4 protestors injured.

Clashes have erupted and spread across the neighborhood as people started to wage self-defense in response to the attack. The wounded civilians who include a Syrian citizen have been taken under treatment in a health center.

Police teams have started to take demonstrators into custody.
