4 Kurds killed in front of the Israeli embassy in Berlin commemorated

The 4 Kurds who were killed during a demonstration in front of the Israeli Consulate in Berlin on February 17, 1999 against the international conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan were commemorated.

The Berlin Free Kurdistan Council and Dest Dan Women's Council and the families commemorated Sema Alp, Mustafa Kurt, Sinan Karakuş and Ahmet Acar who were murdered 22 years ago in front of the Israeli consulate while protesting at the international conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan 

Speaking at the commemoration, the Nav-Berlin spokesperson said, "Our friends were deliberately murdered. Our friends were intentionally martyred even though they did not enter the consulate. We will continue to call them to account for this massacre."

Stressing their determination to continue to come to the Israeli consulate every year, the spokesperson said, “We will meet with the families of our martyrs. After talking to them, we will talk to the lawyers who were dealing with the case at that time."

THE MASSACRE WILL BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE

The spokesperson concluded: “Today, we declare that we will be seeking justice for the victims of this massacre in legal terms. After talking with lawyers and families, we will share with our people what kind of path we will follow in a short time. We promise here that we will do whatever we can."

Black wreaths and photographs were left at the Israeli embassy to condemn the murder of the four people.

During the action, slogans "Murderer Israel", "Jin jiyan Azadî" [Woman, Life, Freedom] were constantly chanted.
