According to a statement by the Russian Ministry of Defence, two Russian military advisors lost their life as a result of an ISIS attack in Deir ez-Zor. While 5 other Russian military advisors were hospitalized with injuries, two of them also died despite all the medical efforts made to save them.

The Ministry stated that 43 ISIS members were killed and six ammunition-loaded vehicles of theirs were destroyed during one hour of clashes.
