44 detained in political genocide operations in three cities
AKP government continues its operations of political genocide targeting the Kurds and opposition circles across the country.
44 people including HDP administrators have been detained in today's operations in Manisa, İstanbul and Iğdır.
MANİSA
Special operations forces raided the houses of HDP members and administrators in Manisa’s Salihli district this morning. 20 people were detained and taken to the anti-terror department of District Police Headquarters.
ISTANBUL
Simultaneous raids were carried out on several houses in Istanbul this morning. 10 people were detained and the police are searching for 7 more people.
The detainees were taken to the Provincial Police Headquarters on Vatan Avenue.
IĞDIR
Security forces from Iğdır Provincial Gendarme Command raided many houses this morning and detained 14 people including HDP Iğdır Co-chair Hasan Safa and former municipal council members.
The detainees were taken to the Provincial Gendarme Command.
