ISIS gangs attacked the village of West Suwediye, 4 km to the East Jabar village, with a large number of militants and heavy weapons on January 18.

Severe clashes that erupted upon the response of Wrath of Euphrates fighters continued for two days and the ISIS attacks on the village have been repelled this morning.

According to information provided by SDF officials, 48 ISIS members were killed and bodies of 12 of these were seized. One panzer, one military vehicle and one bomb-laden truck belonging to the gangs were destroyed during the fighting.

Wrath of Euphrates fighters also seized two armored vehicles, one military vehicle, two motorbikes and some ammunition from the ISIS groups.
