53 ISIS members killed in 5 neighborhoods of Raqqa
53 ISIS members have been killed and some strategic positions have been cleared of ISIS gangs during clashes in 5 neighbourhoods of Raqqa.
The Operation to Liberate Raqqa is continuing in its 74th day in all its intensity.
Clashes are ongoing in the eastern Mansour neighbourhood since yesterday evening and the fighters of SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) are making steady advances. 12 ISIS members were killed in the fighting here.
Fighting also rages in Rashid neighbourhood where at least 19 gang members were killed. The fighters destroyed a bomb vehicle truck before it reached its target here.
Also in the Rawda neighbourhood east of Raqqa short clashes occurred, in which one sniper and another gang member were killed.
7 other ISIS members were killed in al-Barid neighbourhood northwest of the city.
Heavy fighting erupted also in al-Diriyah neighborhood west of the city, where 13 gang members were killed and some strategic positions were cleared of ISIS.
