ISIS gangs launched attacks on Safsafah and Sahl al-Xeshab villages east of Tabqa at 05:30 Wednesday morning. Clashes in both villages intensified and continued into the midnight, after which attacks on Safsafah village were repelled. While SDF fighters launched an offensive against ISIS in this region, fighting continues in Sahil al-Xeshab village.

The neighborhoods of Hay Awwal, Tanî and Salis are witnessing fierce clashes during the past two days. SDF commanders stated that at least 53 ISIS members were killed during clashes ongoing since Tuesday night.

Three SDF fighters were martyred and four others were wounded during the fighting in three neighborhoods and Safsafah and Sahl al-Xeshab villages. Clashes between SDF and ISIS continue.
