7 policemen and 4 civilians die in the Istanbul blast
According to the governor of Istanbul, 7 policemen died and 4 civilians lost their lives in the explosion. Sources say the death toll is actually higher.
A bomb attack targeted a riot police bus in Istanbul’s Beyazıt district this morning.
Istanbul Governor Vasip Şahin said 7 policemen died in the blast and 4 civilians lost their lives. 36 people were wounded, 3 of them in critical condition.
Local sources say the actual number of police casualties is much higher.
