Kurdistan Regional Government Ministry of Peshmerga has announced Wednesday that 727 Peshmergas have been martyred and 3,564 injured in the fighting with the ISIS since 10 June 2014.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Peshmerga, the aftermath of 34 other fighters lost in action remains unknown.

The Ministry stressed that the battle against the ISIS terror was a joint struggle by all Kurdistani forces, and that the casualties who have fallen defending Kurdistan were the martyrs of the whole Kurdistan territory, not of a certain circle or party.
