Special operations forces raided 5 houses in Zafer and Yenimahalle neighborhoods this morning after their recent arrival in the Bulanık district of Muş. DBP Youth Council members Fatih Uğurcu, Sidar Karaçelik, Habip Kaya, Velat Elden and Bülent Aydın were taken under custody, and doors and windows were broken during the raids whose reason remains to be unknown. The five young people who were taken under custody were transferred to the Military Commando Unit in Yenimahalle.

Special operations forces from Muş city center also raided houses in the Saftekin and Danışmentgazi neighborhoods of Malazgirt district and took DBP District Co-President İsmail Turanlı and DBP employee Dağıstan Payçu under custody. A young person called Şinasi Kızılbaba was also taken under custody in the Ölçekli (Dabina) village of Varto district.

The 8 people who were taken under custody in Bulanık, Malazgirt and Varto were eventually taken to Muş Police Headquarters in the city center.
