Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari MP Abdullah Zeydan who is jailed since 4 November 2016 has been sentenced to 8 years, 1 month and 15 days in prison for allegedly “spreading propaganda for a terrorist organization” and “aiding and abetting a terrorist organization”.

HDP Amed MP Çağlar Demirel has also been sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison today for “membership to a terrorist organization”.
