Turkish police carried out simultaneous house raids in İzmir city center as well as Bergama, Seferihisar and Menemen districts early Friday morning.

9 people accused of “spreading PKK propaganda” on social media were taken into custody in the operation. The detainees were taken to the anti-terror branch of İzmir Police Directorate following a medical check.
