Turkish Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, announced Monday’s figures for Coronavirus pandemic on Twitter.
95 people have died during the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,900.
20,143 people have been tested on Monday, 2,131 being positive. 4,651 of those infected have recovered today.
On the other hand, a total of 33,791 infected people have recovered so far, while 1,736 are under intensive care and 882 are intubated.
According to the figures, 918,885 tests have been conducted in Turkey so far and 112,261 people have been confirmed infected.
In the meantime, a three-day curfew will be implemented in Turkey as part of measures to contain the spread of coronavirus. The curfew from the 1st to the 4th of May will involve 31 cities.
The curfew will follow a 4-day lockdown declared by the Turkish Interior Ministry in 31 cities due to the coronavirus pandemic. The ministry announced that during the 4-day ban period, judicial and administrative procedures were carried out on a total of 35,422 people on the grounds of "not following the rules".
