Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan's brother Mehmet Öcalan, his guardian Mazlum Dinç as well as Ömer Hayri Konar's brother Ali Konar, Hamili Yıldırım's brother Polat Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş's sister Melihe Çetin applied once again for a visit to Imrali.

The first applications were made to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The families also applied to the Directorate of Imrali F Type High Security Closed Penitentiary Institution through the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Lawyers apply to these institutions twice a week to meet with Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan. Visit requests are systematically left unanswered.

Sometimes months later, an arbitrary justification is given saying that the prisoners have a ban on visiting.
