Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's lawyers applied to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to visit their client.

The application was made by Öcalan's lawyers Nevroz Uysal, Mazlum Dinç, Faik Özgür Erol and Cengiz Yürekli.

All applications submitted by lawyers from 27 July 2011 until 2 May 2019 were rejected for arbitrary reasons. As a result of months of hunger strike actions, the two lawyers were granted a first visit on 2 May and a second one on 22 May.
