A demonstration was held in Sydney to protest the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state in South Kurdistan.
Since 14 April, an action has been held in Sydney to protest the new invasion carried out by Turkey attacks against Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn.
Kurdish friends from Australia also participated in the action organized by the Democratic Kurdish Community Center (DKTM) Assembly.
Peter Boyle, spokesperson of the Rojava Solidarity Group and writer of the Green Left Weekly newspaper, who made a speech at the protest, noted that they are on the side of the Kurds. Boyle condemned the invasion attacks by the Turkish state.
Kurdish politician Eziz Bawermend stated that in the war between Russia and Ukraine, “Erdogan, the fascist of the age, proposed himself as mediator while invading the country of the Kurds and killing Kurds.”
Bawermend asked Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his party to show the same sensitivity for the Kurds as it did for Ukraine.
DKTM co-chair Gule Rose drew attention to the guerrillas' resistance to the invasion attacks and said: "This resistance is for the 50 million Kurdish people."
Rose added: “The Kurdish people are honorable people and they have the right to freedom."
