Around a thousand people joined a march yesterday in Bordeaux in Franceto call for support to the resistance of Kobanê. The marchers initiated a sit-down protest in the Place de la Victoire square.

After atent protest carried out in order to protect and support the resistance of Kobanê 4 days ago, a march was organised yesterday evening. Around a thousand people participated in the demonstration. After the march, the people initiated a sit-down protest in Place de la Victoire square.

Slogans drawing attention to the resistance of Kobanê and condemning the ISIS gangs attacks were shouted. The message: “if Kobanê is occupied in front of the eyes of the world, then we will occupy everywhere,” was given in the protest.

Meanwhile, youths occupied Sud-Ouest radio station and demanded a live broadcast. The youths spoke to the executives of the radio, and were promised that they will be given the opportunity to explain the aims of this protest by the Kurdish people in Place de la Victoire square.
