Şêxmeqsûd and Eşrefiye People's Municipality Technical Engineers published a report on the damage caused by the earthquake to the buildings in Aleppo.
Engineers working within the municipality attended a press conference held in front of Telet Aleppo Cafeteria. Hisên Ehmed, a member of the Chamber of Engineers, read a statement on behalf of the Chamber.
The report said that 5 buildings were destroyed as the result of the earthquake, 12 buildings had to be demolished, 400 buildings were damaged, while sewerage and water lines were also damaged.
The report noted that more than a hundred people were injured and thousands were forced to leave their homes.
Ehmed said: "The international community, the Russian Federation, human rights organizations and international law are responsible for the current situation. The 4th Brigade of the Damascus government has imposed an embargo and does not allow the passage of basic supplies and emergency humanitarian aid. This policy continues to this day."
At the end of the press conference, interested parties were asked to help by providing debris removal equipment.
