The birthday of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan was celebrated in front of the Turkish Consulate with LED screens in the US cities of New York and New Jersey. An event was also held in the French city of Montpellier.
Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's birthday was celebrated in New York and New Jersey in a particular way. LED screens were mounted on a van driving in front of the Turkish Consulate in New York displaying images of Abdullah Öcalan.
Birthday celebration in Montpellier
A celebration was also organized in the French city of Montpellier on 4 April. Children, young people and women participated in the event held at the Montpellier Democratic Kurdish Community Center.
During the celebration, a cake depicting the PKK flag and a cake with the inscription "Rojbûna te piroz be Apo" were cut for the children.
