Martyr Baran Dersim and Martyr Nuda Karker Revenge Unit carried out a series of actions to protest the isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Martyr Baran Dersim and the Martyr Nuda Karker Revenge Unit said in a written statement: "On 1 January 2020, simultaneous actions were carried out in the neighborhood of Süphan, Köyiçi and Şabani in Edremit(Van) and in Xaçort (Ipekyolu).

Our units called on the public to speak out against isolation and carried out actions against the enemy. While people were protesting isolation, our units carried out an action while the enemy attempted to enter the neighborhoods with armored vehicles.

Enemy blockade neighborhoods using heavy gas bombs. Our units returned safely to base.

Our units called upon young people to join the ranks in the areas where they are involved and to increase the struggle for 2020 and break the isolation on Leader Apo and bring down fascism."
