Responding to the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's call, Mehmet Ali Koçak ended his hunger strike in Geneva and was taken to hospital.

Kocak, who was admitted to the hospital after receiving first medical attention, said that doctors have decided to monitor him for a while in the hospital. 

Koçak said in a statement that the resistance won but added that “we will continue to fight.” 

He added: “Our struggle for our leadership and our people will continue in a different way.”
