Activists Bağdur and Kobanê returned to Kassel

The two activists were on hunger strike for 118 days.

Ömer Bağdur and Cemal Kobanê were two of the dozens of Kurdish activists who joined the hunger strike resistance demanding the end of isolation against Abdullah Öcalan. 

Since 26 May, when, responding to Öcalan's message, the hunger strike was called off, the two activists have been recovering in Kassel and are receiving many visits.

The two activists were on hunger strike for 118 days.

Ömer Bağdur and Cemal Kobanê, who joined the hunger strike resistance led by DTK Co-Chair and HDP Hakkari Leyla Güven, suffered several health problems in the 11 days of hunger strike.

Both activists returned to Kassel after 5 days of treatment and have been receiving the visit of many Kurds living in the city.
